ŞENMAK, which began its export journey with France in 2004 and now ships to all corners of the world, continues its steady growth in global markets with its sustainable production approach, strong R&D infrastructure, and corporate structure based on Turkish engineering.

ŞENMAK's Export Journey

ŞENMAK's export journey began in 2004 with France. Today, our company operates across a wide geography stretching from North America to Asia and from Western Europe to South America, boasting a strong and sustainable export network.

By 2025, in global markets where economic and quality competition has reached the highest levels, ŞENMAK aims to steadfastly maintain its sustainable, reliable, and high value-added production approach.

The investments made in our machinery park each year aim not only to increase production capacity but also to eliminate bottlenecks in production processes, thereby ensuring speed, flexibility, and competitive delivery times. As a natural result of these investments, our sales and production capacity are growing steadily, and ŞENMAK's share in global markets is increasing in parallel.

Over the years, significant developments have been made in technical parameters such as length, diameter, and weight in our main product groups, screws and sockets. In addition, with our certified supplier status, testing and trial processes for different machine parts have been successfully completed and approved by manufacturers. Our constantly evolving machine park is structured accordingly and incorporates new capabilities every year.

The Strategic Role of R&D

One of the most important factors supporting increased production capacity and creating a competitive advantage is R&D. At ŞENMAK, R&D is positioned as a strategic function that ensures the engineering perspective is reflected in the field, guarantees quality, and supports sustainable growth.

Collaborations with various universities and detailed analyses and reports prepared by the ŞENMAK Laboratory enable us to provide our customers with a regular, transparent, and reliable flow of information.

Although English is widely accepted as the common language in international collaborations, engineering and mathematics stand out as a universal language of communication.

Mathematics is a Universal Language

The language used in technical drawings may vary; however, numbers, tolerances, and technical data are the same worldwide and understood by everyone in the field. Although production methods vary according to expertise and countries, we believe that the path to optimization follows universal principles. For this reason, engineering and mathematics are at the heart of all processes at ŞENMAK.

Finance and Sales: The Foundation of a Strong Structure

A robust corporate structure and sustainable growth are underpinned by a strong financial structure. Resource generation is crucial for establishing this structure in a healthy manner, and sales departments are among the most critical actors in this process. For exporting companies in particular, sales is not merely a revenue-generating function; when managed correctly, it is also a source of market intelligence and a strategic guide.

Exporting is not merely an activity that increases sales volume for companies; it is a strategic tool for long-term growth and sustainability. While providing resilience against fluctuations in the domestic market, it diversifies revenue streams and encourages companies to continuously improve in terms of quality, cost management, and efficiency. This process contributes significantly to strengthening institutionalization and establishing a professional management approach.

Competition and Turkish Engineering

Despite facing strong competitors in the European market and the growing influence of Asian machinery and spare parts manufacturers, ŞENMAK continues to operate steadily thanks to its solid corporate structure and years of experience.

ŞENMAK, which continues to develop its strategic partnerships with the world's leading manufacturing companies and high-budget institutions, proudly represents the strength of national capital and Turkish engineering in global markets.

"The foundation of competing in international markets lies in engineering, mathematics, and a reliable production philosophy. At ŞENMAK, we build all our processes on these three pillars; we continue to successfully represent Turkish engineering on a global scale."

The K Fair, the largest gathering of the plastics and rubber industry, was met with great interest this year in Germany in 2025.

We at ŞENMAK were there among hundreds of thousands of visitors and thousands of participants from all over the world. For the seventh time! Each participation is not just a trade fair experience; it is an opportunity to showcase Turkey's production power, advances in machine technology, and export spirit to the world. As ŞENMAK, we were met with great interest at our stand this year and had the opportunity to hold productive meetings with both existing business partners and potential customers.

The Power and Importance of Trade Fairs

As we know, the global economy has not been going through an easy period in recent years. Uncertainties, crises, and problems in the global supply chain mean that manufacturing sectors are also bearing the brunt of this. The climate of crisis and lack of solutions is, unfortunately, having a major impact on our field. But that is precisely why trade fairs such as K allow the sector to breathe. Participants come together, new technologies are introduced, collaborations emerge… The result is an atmosphere brimming with morale and motivation. It facilitates the sector regaining momentum and companies establishing their long-term plans on a more solid foundation. Frankly, I believe that establishing the right communication face-to-face and with transparency, and clearly laying out the balance of benefits and harms, is the cornerstone of long-lasting and solid partnerships.

Stability, the Most Valuable Support

While this uncertainty negatively impacts economies, stability is always our greatest ally in the workplace. ŞENMAK once again emphasises how important stability is during this process. Because continuity in production, confidence in sales, quality in service... all of these are the results of a stable structure. Trade fairs reinforce this stability; they build bridges between brands, customers and suppliers.

Sustainability is Now a Necessity

Of course, there is also the future-oriented aspect of the matter. No production process can afford to ignore nature anymore. Developing environmentally friendly technologies, using resources efficiently, and creating a more sustainable industrial model are becoming increasingly important every day. As the world moves towards a nature-friendly green future, manufacturing companies must make this perspective their guiding principle. They must strike the right balance between cost, investment and sustainability in order to open the first door to cooperation with the world. The efforts and investments of many companies in this direction will bear fruit in a more rational way in the future.

In conclusion;

K Düsseldorf 2025 was not just a trade fair for ŞENMAK; it was a source of pride for both its own development journey and Turkish industry on the international stage.

This traditional participation once again demonstrated the brand's determination, the dynamism of the sector, and the country's manufacturing power to the entire world. As a team, I believe we have successfully completed this fair. Now it is time to properly analyse the experience we gained and the data we collected at this fair and put it to work as quickly as possible!

I would like to express my gratitude to our esteemed company management, to İKMİB and PAGDER for their supportive activities, and to all my team members for their efforts.

“K 2022 was a qualified exhibition that met our expectations”

She said that the K 2022 Exxhibition, which offers the opportunity to come together with the plastic and rubber industry at a global level, met their expectations. Şenmak Makine Marketing Chief Melek Sarıca said, “The K exhibition turns into a unique opportunity for us that we catch every 3 years.”

Sarıca: “The K exhibiton, we attended for the 6th time this year, once again proved its driving force. We were together with 176,000 visitors and 3037 exhibitors from all continents. We have been eagerly awaiting K2022 after almost no trade fair has been held around the world for the last three years. Although the global unpredictability and uncertainty of events are clearly felt in the sector, we noticed in K that; this did not affect the number of exhibitors or the quality of the visitors. We saw participants embrace the need to think sustainably about plastics. Solutions for the circular economy, energy/resource efficiency and sustainability were the focus. The equipment and machinery were incredible in exhibition. It was clearly felt that the awareness of social responsibility penetrated the plastics industry.”

“A unique opportunity we catch every 3 years”

Stating that 85% of the fair participants are among the potential customer portfolios, Sarıca emphasized that they had the opportunity to network face-to-face by talking to qualified and technical representatives at the fair. Sarıca continued his explanations as follows: “In the case of Şenmak, the most important aspect of K for us was the opportunity to form a face-to-face network."

We manufacture Screws and Barrels for injection and extrusion machines that produce plastic and rubber. Our customer profile consists of machine manufacturers call OEM, and end users who use these machines. So that; The K exhibition offers business opportunities to Şenmak even if all its doors are closed and no visitors are allowed in. 57% of the participants are machinery manufacturers, 28% are semi-finished or plastic and rubber parts manufacturers, which we call end users, that is, 85% of the fair participants are already in our potential customer profile. For this reason, the K turns into a unique opportunity for us that we catch every 3 years. One of the biggest advantages of K is that the exhibitors and visitors are middle and top managers. In most of our meetings, we dealt with qualified and technical representatives. Considering the global uncertainties and energy crises, we prepared a tight and aggressive calendar for K2022, made CRM developments specific to K, and successfully completed the 8-day plan with a team of 15 people in the field. Some of our talks progressed faster than we had anticipated. We established promising new customer relationships, made physical visits and meetings, hosted our existing customers at our booth and signed spontaneous business deals.

With the priority of increasing our brand awareness and market share, we will be collecting the fruits of the commercial seeds we planted in K in the short and long term.”

Turkey's interest in the fair is increasing

Stating that Turkey ranks 4th among the countries participating in the fair, Sarıca concluded her words as follows: “We are also proud of the intense participation of the Turkish plastics industry in K2022. Among the countries participating in the fair, we were in the 4th place with 185 companies after Germany, Italy and China. Our country's export-oriented and successful companies more and more attention join these platforms. In this context; I would like to thank İKMİB and PAGDER for supporting the export targets of the plastics industry.”
